POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE Inaugurates Brand New Training Center in Aire-sur-l’Adour

POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE group is inaugurating its new training center today in Aire-sur-l’Adour, with clients, partners, and several local elected officials, including Xavier Lagrave, the town’s mayor, in attendance. Roland and Henry Potez will also join the group’s president, Antoine Potez, to celebrate this event.

“I am very happy to present this new center to the public. It illustrates our ability to transmit our expertise to train the next generation of aerospace professionals, as my father envisioned back in 1990 when he initiated our training activities. It’s thanks to that visionary momentum that we can now support the dynamic growth of our industry in our region,” declares Antoine Potez.

The Aire-sur-l’Adour training center has moved from the production site to a brand new building dedicated to learning. This relocation, just a few steps away, was made necessary by both the growth of industrial activity and the explosion in the number of people being trained. “We have provided training for 370 people in our different centers over the past two years. That’s ten times more than twenty years ago,” specifies Antoine Potez.

This new center will be able to host 120 people each year and will train individuals in the professions of painter, fitter/assembler, boilermaker, machinist, and quality controller. These are in-demand trades for which POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE aims to meet its own needs, as well as help its clients do the same. To this end, the group is capable of creating, via POTEZ AÉROSERVICES, training centers dedicated to its clients, such as the one opened in Poitiers in 2024 for Dassault Aviation.

“Training is a strategic activity for our development. We want it to be present near each of our main sites, which is why we intend to quickly open new centers in Portugal and Spain,” concludes Antoine Potez.
