POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE

The POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE Group designs and manufactures aerostructures.
With more than 550 employees, we cover all the skills required to manufacture complex assemblies: design, manufacturing and industrialization engineering, project management, manufacturing of detail parts and assembly. The Group is diversifying its activities into services based on these same set of skills. In 2021, its consolidated sales amounted to EUR 51 million.

POTEZ AÉRONAUTIQUE is fully equipped to oversee the entire production process for metallic and composite aerostructures: from raw material sourcing, industrialization, manufacturing of detail parts, surface treatments, and assembly – to repairs and the manufacturing of spare parts. This industrial model offers our clients autonomy, agility and reactivity.

Managing a good supply chain is a key success factor to our operations. We endeavor to provide the best level of service possible to our customers despite a large and diversified panel of suppliers with whom we work on a daily basis.

INNOVATION IN ACTION

Our innovative attitude is based on a twin approach that facilitates continuous improvements in performance with regards to our resources and products while at the same time respecting the environment:

 

• Investments in Industry 4.0 with innovations in industrial processes: automation, cobotics, digital control;
• Product innovations by means of several R&T projects on composite materials and door production.

Many of our projects are supported by innovation support schemes such as the Programme d’investissements d’avenir [Future Investment Program] (PIA3), the CORAC fund (DGAC), France Relance subsidies, and Crédit d’Impôt Recherche [Research Tax Credit]. Some projects involve partnerships with public research organizations, such as Compositic, the technical platform of the Université Bretagne Sud [University of Southern Brittany].

Within the framework of these projects, we often work with students and trainees from engineering schools such as ENSAM, ESTIA, ENIT, ICAM, etc.

Digitalization is also a major priority for the company. We actively invest in the deployment of MES, PLM, paperless solutions, etc.

OUR HISTORY

Our history is the saga of an industrial family. It was all started in 1916 by Henry Potez who was driven by a passion for aviation and the quest for excellence.

The story was continued by his grandson, Roland Potez until 2020. Antoine and Henry now continue the trajectory, resolutely turning towards the future.
